Our tips for getting the best from us?
The more you put in the box the cheaper it gets. Sounds a bit
unconventional, but modular building is about factory production
leveraging site efficiency. The more you put in the module the less
there is to do on site. Scale also plays a major part in cost
effectiveness; we only engage on projects that are over 100
modules.
Quicksmart Homes are the leaders in modular construction
innovation in Australia. Our production techniques and our design
processes allow customers to have the benefits of modular
construction without any of the traditional restrictions.
Quicksmart Homes ultimately provides bespoke modular products to
customer specifications and delivers them as part of either a full
delivery team or direct to the customer.
There are some basic rules with modular buildings that can make
them very space and cost effective. A lot of benefit comes from the
standardisation of the product although Quicksmart has shown that
this should not limit design choice.
Quicksmart make a range of modules from studios to multi-room
configurations. Also supplied are ancillary spaces such as stores,
stairs, lift areas and public areas. Every building is potentially
different so Quicksmart have the technology and know how to design
for the customer needs.
One important factor to remember when considering Quicksmart's
products is that there are certain costs associated with
construction and these change very little despite the size of the
project. In the case of modular construction in general the optimum
size for a project is between 100-200 units. This is not to say
that other projects are not viable, as many projects have different
issues to resolve, but it is a rule of thumb if comparing to
traditional construction techniques.
